1 Which browsers do the online registration system support?
  Our system is best viewed with the following browsers in Microsoft's Windows environment:
  Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 or above
  Netscape Navigator 6.2 or above
  Java Plugin: JRE 6 or above.
   
2 I have popup killer software installed on my PC, and the online registration system does not seem to be functioning properly. Why?
  If your computer is installed with any Anti-popup software, you are advised to temporarily disable it as it may interfere with your browsing of our web pages.
   
3 Are there specific settings which I must set in order to use the online registration system?
  Where specific settings or browser types are required for the applications, we will state so on the respective web pages.
   
4 My browser informs me that the site's security certificate has expired or is invalid. What should I do?
 

This may happen if you are using Microsoft Internet 4.0, or some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and above. You may upgrade your browser so that the security alert prompt will not appear.

Alternatively, you may click "Yes" when asked if you want to proceed when the Security Alert dialog box appears. The SSL session enabled between our server and your browser will not be affected, and you will be able to encrypt communications with our site as before.

   
5 How does MOE ensure that the confidential and private information that I provide is secured?
  We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide security for Internet transactions. The SSL technology encrypts data transmitted on the Internet.
   
6 How do I know that the web page I am viewing is secured by SSL?
 

If you are using Netscape Navigator, you will see a padlock or a little key at the bottom left-corner of your browser.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, the padlock will be at the bottom right-hand corner of your browser.

   
7 Where can I look for help if I encounter problems?
  We may not be able to assist you if you have
  browsers or software installation problems
  PC hardware and software conflicts or errors
  a virus in your PC
  a problem with your operating system
